the rectangular top carved with an overall florette and lozenge diaper, set on either side with two long central drawers flanked by a shorter drawer, supported on side pedestals each with two further drawers over an open compartment, the outer sides carved in relief with figures in a landscape of lakeside pavilions, the interior sides carved with a dragon and phoenix among cloud scrolls, the drawer fronts carved with angular scrolls entwined with foliage, all within borders of scrolling lotus, fitted with metal angular scroll handles
