of square form, the hinged canted cover lifting to reveal a shallow tray above a deep compartment, all raised on a conforming base with curvilinear front apron, with ruyi-shaped mounts to the top corners, rectangular corner reinforcements, barbed lock plate and ruyi-head clasp all in baitong

The tray - very slight gaps in the joins of the base to the frame on the underside.The box - some cracks across the base and a slight gap between the panel and the frame along the back join
