Francis Antoine Monginot was considered one of the best painters of flowers on porcelain in the early 19th Century; Monginot worked at Sevres under the direction of Brongniart. In 1825 , he established himself as porcelain dealer and decorator at 20 Boulevard of the Italians however went bankrupt in 1837
