probably of huanghuali, each chair with five-segmented rounded crestrail set on straight back posts centred by a rectangular S-form splat carved with a ruyi-shaped cartouche of two dragons confronting a shou character, the tapering side posts and recessed front posts curved below the outscrolled handgrips, the hardwood seat with a shallow recessed border within a mitred frame, the cylindrical legs joined by beaded shaped aprons with entwined scrolls at the front, and by four stepped stretchers, the wood of attractive colour; the matching table with a flush rectangular floating panel top within a mitred frame waisted above a similar shaped apron extending down the square section legs supporting a single shelf and terminating in hoof feet

Chairs - some dark infill to the small gaps in joins. Generally good condition.Table - slight gaps between the floating panel and the frame on the top of the table. Generally good condition.
