each chair of ruyi outline, the back and arms inlaid with flowering prunus and fruiting vine and inset with a 'dreamstone' marble plaque within a band of shou characters, the wood seat supported on corner legs joined by inlaid aprons and a double cash stretcher, the side tables with a marble inset square top above a pierced apron and single shelf

Condition Report
The joints somewhat loose. Some gaps in the joins. One chair with the lower stretcher front loop broken and repaired splits. The stretcher joined to the legs by metal fittings, two now detached from the fittings and gaps in the joins of the other two. The side tables with some gaps in the joins. One table with a gap in the join of the shelf to the frame along one edge approx 10cm. A small section repaired on two corner joins of the apron. Two small pieces of mother of pearl inlay missing.
