This painting is sold with an accompanying Papunya Tula Artists certificate which reads in part: ' This painting depicts designs associated with the soakage water site of Parayilpil, in the Stanmore Range, north of Lake MacKay. This is a swamp after rain. In mythological times a large group of Tingari Men and Tingari Women gathered at this site to conduct ceremonies associated with initiation of young men'.
