This painting is sold with an accompanying Flinders Lane Gallery certificate that reads in part: 'The painting is centred on Tuan, an important site in the central area of Spinifex Country. Tuan is associated with a number of Spinifex stories (Jukurpa) although in this particular case Ian Rictor has focused on the Magpie (Kurpuru) story that passes through this area on its way to the coast at Eucela'. The painting details the following sites: Artulingka, Waltatjawarr, Tuan, Antarningka, Wayara, Tjirllibii, Kamandii, Kamandii kulinbah and Inikurakura'.
