The Admiralty islands lie to the north of Papua New Guinea and the tribespeoples' primary weapons were spears and daggers made from obsidian volcanic glass. It is found on the small islands of Lou and Pam in shaft mines.The inhabitants have been trading it to Manus Island for thousands of years, and even further across the seas to Papua New Guinea and New Ireland.
