the hour ring graduated III-XII, I-IX on the upper surface, with sprung gnomon, the latitude arc with graduations for 6°-90°, the horizontal plate with foliate engraved decoration, compass with glazed cover (cracked) and blued-steel needle, markings for eight points of the compass, the reverse engraved with European cities and their corresponding latitudes 5CM WIDE
