inspired by 17th century works, the carved ivory head of the bishop supports a high peaked silver mitre embossed with crosses and foliate motifs and an embossed silver cape to his shoulders, the bust resting on a tiered altar piece with a border bezel set with alternating cabochon garnets and pearl shells above a tiers of applied foliage and flower heads, raised on the backs of standing lions on rectangular bases, inscription to underside of base, 8CM WIDE, 14CM HIGH
