the shaped top rail carved with scrolls either side of the central splat in the form of precious objects surmounted by a bat, the arms supported on large cash above the rectangular seat within a moulded frame, the corner legs of square section joined by stretchers, the front apron carved with tasselled cash motifs

Condition Report

One chair - chips to the end of the left arm where joined to the back rail. Some chips to the rear lower corner join of the arm. The right arm join with the front upright now loose. Small infilled repairs to the back rail and right arm. The left arm join to the seat slightly loose. Second chair - small repair to front edge of the right side apron. The right arm join to the seat now loose. An infilled repair to the back rail.
