the chairs each with an arched crestrail with central S-shaped plain splat and supported on slightly curved rear posts of round section continuing through the moulded frame to form the back legs, the curved arm rails supported on tapering stiles and joined to the S-shaped front posts, the hardwood seat above arched stretchers with short struts joining the legs of circular section and four ascending stretchers at the base

the chairs 119 cm high, 61 cm wide, 67 cm deep; the stand 74 cm high, 42 cm wide, 31.7 cm deep

Condition Report

One chair - a small vertical crack from the top join of the back splat to the crest rail approx 3cm long. The stand - a small gap approx 0.4cm along one edge of the top panel within the frame. A slither missing to the edge of one corner beneath the top. Otherwise generally good condition
