of rounded rectangular section, the upright body surmounted by a short waisted neck set with double angular scroll handles, carved in high and pierced relief with a dragon climbing up the side in pursuit of a flaming pearl and a phoenix holding a frond of lingzhi fungus, and with bats in flight among clouds, all supported on a wave splashed rockwork base, the stepped cover surmounted by a ribbed knop, the pale greenish stone with some russet suffusions

Condition Report
Some frits around the rims of the mouth and a small shallow chip on the exterior of the mouth rim approx 0.3cm. Some very minor frits to the edges of the bats wings and the cloud scrolls. Generally good condition
