The inscription reads: In memory of Elizabeth Kemeys Tynte/Daughter of Thomas Swinnerton Esqr. and Wife of /Chas.John Kemeys tynte Esqr./by whom this was presented to his esteemed friend/George Leche Baker Esqr./10 th May 1839
