rectangular, engine turned with fine reeding to body, the cover and base with central chased and engraved cartouche, the cover featuring a young man in landscape harvesting with a sickle, the base with a young man with a sythe, suspended from softly draped swags, the sides chased and engraved with agricultural implements and sheaths of wheat, wheat-ear borders with scrolls and ribbon ties
