with steeply rounded sides rising from a recessed base, painted on the exterior with birds in flight and perched on branches of pink and white blossoming prunus trees growing among bamboo, and with a red sun rising from scrolling clouds, the interior with a bat and fruiting peach encircled with sprigs of chrysanthemum, bamboo, prunus and iris, the base inscribed in iron-red with a six-character seal mark
