each of tapering rectangular form, the curved exterior carved in low relief with a fisherman walking along the shore, the underside intricately carved and pierced with sages and attendants variously occupied seated at tables in a rocky landscape of pine and bamboo, and with a pavilion set high among swirling clouds and distant mountains

Condition Report

One with possible chip to the tip of the highest pine tree, the lower left branch replaced and a branch behind the heads of the two uppermost figures with traces of glue, the bird lower left with traces of glue and one leg partly missing. On the reverse minor very fine darker fissure lines. The other with some tips of bamboo leaves and pine branches chipped off. The reverse with some fine darker fissure lines and a dark crack approx 1.5cm from the upper edge. Otherwise good condition .
