Condition Report
As it reads in the catalogue, both the decanters are stamped on the silver neck collar and the underside of cover with the Faberge mark. The firm received the Imperial Warrant in 1884-85 for its high standards and the firms production of the Imperial Easter eggs given by the Emperor. It would appear that the engraved crowns and initials probably signify the a decanter was given by the two parties to each other, prior to a Royal marriage, as the initials are W and S, possibly Wilhelm and Sophia. I am sure with more research this could be worked out. The decanter do have chips to the facet edges and some internal fractures to the raised decoration, and some general wear consistent with age and use. I have attached some images for your perusal.
