Condition Report
Lot 81 Ivory Box: The cover – some slight gaps in the corner joins on the top and bottom borders and in the canework on one side. Some slight gaps in the pegged sections of the cloud scroll border around the top. One wheat stems slightly loose and one detached. Two small hairline cracks across the key fret border. The lacquer interior with slight gaps around the joins and related slight lacquer losses. An apparent overpainted area in one corner. The box – slight gaps to corner joins. The narrow border around the base possibly in bone. The lacquer interior with very slight gaps in corners. One side apparently overpainted across one corner.
