Condition Report

CONDITION REPORT Original canvas. Generally the work is in good original condition for a painting of this age Under UV light there are spots of retouching evident: In the top left quadrant of the painting an area 10 x 15cm with attendant scattered spots. There is some retouching less obviously to the rights and above the grapes in this composition. All areas were conserved approximately forty years ago. The picture surface is consequently stable and cosmetically sound. The picture is housed under glass and has not been examined out of the frame. Brett Ballard Specialist
