each wide curved crestrail composed of five members and the rounded terminals with pierced foliate scrolls, set on straight back and front posts with shaped spandrels and curving side posts, the curved back splat divided by raised borders and pierced with a scrolling foliate cartouche and openwork spandrels, the rectangular seat above a short straight waist and convex shouldered apron with beaded edge continuing to the curved legs of square section terminating in ruyi scroll and pad feet below scrolled spandrels; the table en suite; together with a limited edition Ming Dynasty Furniture Appreciation by Wang Shi Xiang, September 1985, no 80/200, fitted wood box
