Width 55mm. This 'Seamaster' became known as 'PloProf'' meaning 'plongeurs professionnels' (professional divers). It was launched in 1970 after four years of research to build an ultra-resistant and highly waterproof watch. The case is made of a solid bloc of steel and is water-resistant to 600m/2000ft. The crown position at 9 prevents any accidental manipulation and does not hinder the movement of the wrist.
