the clock of waisted form, richly encrusted with floral bocage and rocaille decoration, centred by an embossed brass dial with enamelled Roman numeral cartouches, surmounted by a putto emblematic of Night, a rooster crowing for dawn at his feet, the lower body applied with three putti emblematic of the seasons Summer, Autumn and Spring, together with a pair of four light candelabra applied with conforming decoration, including putti drawing and playing the trumpet, underglaze blue crossed swords marks, incised model numbers 'N. 168', 'N. 169', 'N. 169' and various pressnummern, the clock movement stamped 'LENZKIRCH'

Condition Report
The clock movement ticks over, however a full service and timing by a professional after purchase is recommended. Accompanied by a key, pendulum and bell. All pieces with surface dust overall. Clock: minor losses to floral bocage throughout; losses to the applied corn stalks in approximately four places. putto at the central lower section is missing the big toe of the right foot. The left wing to the putto representing Night appears to have been restored and is slightly discoloured. Candelabra 1: losses to floral bocage throughout; one putto with a restoration to the back of the head; the figure writing is missing the top section of his writing implement; overall sound condition. Candelabra 2: losses to floral bocage throughout; losses to the tips of two moulded leaves of the cornucopia at the centre of the stem; overall sound condition.
