Condition Report
Foundry mark for Preiss Kassler stamped to the bronze base; inscribed signature 'F. Preiss' to onyx base clear and legible. The faming torch\xE8res held in the dancer's hands are made from resin, one is missing a section from the tip of the flame, approximately 5 mm long x 4 mm wide. Fine, darkened hairlines to the ivory in places throughout, consistent with age, however all ivory components are stable and secure. Carved extremities - fingers, toes, hair and facial features - are all intact and free from damage. Light abrasions, patina marks and surface grime to bronze in places, however the colours are bright and generally intact. Onyx base in good order, with minor losses in places consistent with age.
