the domed cover with ruyi-head metal fittings, above a pair of doors opening to reveal two pairs of short and one long drawer, the sides set with bail handles and a chain joining the cover and side, the cover inlaid in various coloured hardstones with a long tailed bird perched on a blossoming peony tree beside bamboo and lingzhi fungus, the front with fruiting peach and finger citron, the doors with cranes beside pine, bamboo and lingzhi fungus
