carved in pierced and high relief with a recumbent qilin beside ornamental rockwork with lingzhi fungus growing to one side, its head turned exhaling scrolling clouds rising above, using the areas of russet suffusions to highlight the carving

Condition Report
Some surface chips on the reverse of the upper edge and a roughened area to the stone on the upper edge of the reverse. A roughened area to the stone on the front lower edge below the legs of the deer. Some minor frits to the raised edges.
