Dr Burden worked as a missionary for the China Inland Mission in Shanghai and Chongqing. He married Scottish missionary Joanne Webster and returned to Australia in 1899
Condition Report
Slight stain approx 2cm diameter to lower front on left and right side. Under left arm with some restitching. Frayed edge to the lower edge of the left sleeve. Some wear around the collar. A small hole approx 0.5cm on the inside panel above the dragon.
