of characteristic cylindrical form painted on the exterior in bright cobalt blue with a continuous scene of sages in discussion and otherwise occupied along a riverscape with high mountains, and with pavilions set among trees and shrubs, a flight of birds overhead, the neck and galleried rim encircled with key-fret, ruyi head and scroll borders, the base inscribed in underglaze blue with a double circle
