the curved reeded back with a central flamed cedar panel between two scrolls and a gadrooned rail, above over scrolled swan neck arms (one with an internal rotating mechanism), bolster cushions, over a rail with two plain panels, raised on reeded and turned tapering legs terminating in brass castors, upholstered in maroon coloured horsehair; 220CM WIDE
NOTE The internal rotating mechanism was used so that the upholsterer was able to put his first row of tacks in. Note also the similar reeding on the legs to those of the easy chair, lot 32
