In wonderful condition this vehicle is an exceptional example of the new range of cars launched in September 1935 by Sir William Lyons under the new ‘Jaguar' name. Regarded as one of the greatest of automotive designs, it is perhaps the quintessence of the open British sports car. This example is absolutely superb and correct and is featured in the book ‘The Forerunners of Jaguar in Australia and S.E. Asia', by Terry McGrath.
