Provenance

Orange County Choppers, Newburgh
Mr Russell Crowe, Sydney, acquired from the above in 2007

One of three 'Rabbitohs' motorcycles designed and constructed by the Teutul family, the proprietors of Orange County Choppers, this example was unveiled as part of Australia Day celebrations, 26 January 2008, during a Rugby League exhibition match between the South Sydney Rabbitohs and the Leeds Rhinos, in Jacksonville, Florida. Also present were Greg Norman, Angelo Dundee and Dennis Rodman.

The various stages of the construction of the motorcycle were featured in the Discovery Channel television series, American Chopper (2003-2010). The Teutuls later visited Russell Crowe at the Museum of Interesting Things in Nymboida, New South Wales.
