Designed as a collar centring a collet-set cabochon emerald stated to weigh 19.02 carats flanked by a line of articulated geometric motif links embellished with pavé-set brilliant-cut and collet-set marquise diamonds highlighted at intervals with half round spacers decorated with oval faceted sapphires, the sapphires and diamonds together weighing approximately 8.50 carats and 22.50 carats respectively, gross weight approximately 168.60 grams, inner circumference approximately 380mm, signed Bulgari, numbered C2512.

Accompanied by a Bulgari case.

In the 1980s, Bulgari led the design narrative with the Bulgari High Jewellery Collection, aptly capturing the 1980s zeitgeist. For Bulgari, the design aesthetic of the period was informed by opulence along with a harmony of colours. Beautiful jewels featured combinations of bold striking colours and more rounded shapes; the decorative element became the design.
