brightly enamelled with Precious Objects and flowering plants encircled with alternating vignettes of mythical animals and flowers and insects around the broad everted rim, the base inscribed with a six-character mark in underglaze blue; together with a 'famille-verte' saucer dish with petal-shaped landscape and floral panels reserved on an iron-red floral ground, the base with conch mark in underglaze blue

Condition Report

Lot 13 Famille verte dish Ratty rim, the glaze chipped off around the rim edge. Three areas where glaze chipped over the interior rim each approx 1.5cm long and a shallow chip on exterior rim approx 1.5cm by 1.5cm with related hairlline crack from the rim approx 3cm. Some smaller shallow glaze chips and frits. Shallow chip on footrim. Famille verte saucer dish Ratty rim – small chips and frits around the edge of the rim and on the footrim. Otherwise generally good condition. - Ann Roberts
