Makybe Diva went on to win the Group one W. S. Cox Plate at Moonee Valley on Saturday 22nd October 2005 and her historic third Melbourne Cup at Flemington on Tuesday 1st November 2005. She finished her racing career as Australia's highest stakes winning horse with $14,526,685 in prize money.
