Condition Report

The bureau has been conserved recently, however much of the original patina has been left intact to preserve originality, including ink marks to the internal shelf and two of the drawers, circular marks and light surface scratches to the exterior and pen marks and dark patches to the writing surface, all consistent with age and use over time. Tarnishing to the brass ferules. Accompanied by a replacement key for the functioning lock. Structurally sound.
