Condition Report

Carved decoration generally in good order, section of carving missing to a section of branch at the lower quadrant, approximately 1.5 cm long x 3 mm wide; light wear and minor losses in other places. Loss to the front top left corner of the panel approximately 1.5 cm high x 2 cm at the widest point. Diagonal split near the top right corner approximately 2.5 cm long. Five small nail holes at the lower left, lower right and bottom edge indicate that the panel is likely to have been inserted into a larger item originally. Partial label inscribed in ink affixed to the reverse, together with two later screw-eyes and a picture wire. Various surface marks and scratches consisten with age.
