the rectangular base surmounted by a recumbent beast, its head turned to the side with snarling expression, the sides of the base encircled with an incised rope twist border, the face with a four-character seal, carved from a pale stone with areas of dense russet suffusions

Condition Report

Minor frits to the edge of the base and lower edge of corners. Some powdery accretions in the crevices. Generally good condition.
