each with a straight crestrail continuing to the back posts, enclosing a central rectangular splat carved with panels of flowering plants between pierced chilong and lotus blooms, either side framed with pierced scrollwork, the straight arms joined to the seat by vertical struts, the legs joined by a plain beaded apron and stepped stretchers

Condition Report
Each with medium to heavy dings and dents to the frame. Both chairs with a horizontal split to the seat running approximately 10 cm from the back left side edge toward the centre of the seat. Structurally sound.
