Adrian Feint: Australian Cornucopia
Smith & Singer is honoured to present Adrian Feint: Australian Cornucopia, the most significant commercial exhibition of Feint's work ever held, comprising of 24 major paintings spanning from 1940 to 1951.
Trained as a draughtsman and designer, Adrian Feint began painting full-time in 1938, and his works from the ensuing decade are amongst the most complex, inspiring and renowned in the history of still life painting in Australia. Feint’s floral and landscape arrangements, blending an inventive and unique synthesis of naturalism and surrealism, hover between the experienced and the imagined, the real and the ideal.
Adrian Feint: Australian Cornucopia will be open to the public at 30 Queen Street, Woollahra, from 27 July to 21 August 2020, 10am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.
