Results were led by stellar performances by artists including Brett Whiteley, Russell Drysdale, Jeffrey Smart, John Perceval, Del Kathryn Barton, Arthur Boyd, William Delafield Cook, Isobel Rae, Elioth Gruner and Criss Canning, with new world auction records established for Mortimer Menpes and Bronwyn Oliver.
