Strong results were achieved for a remarkable selection of fine Asian, Australian & European Arts & Design from the 17th century to contemporary on 6 April 2016.  The sale generated $1.5 million with 109% sold by value.  Featured were Asian carving and ceramics together with a diverse selection of Australian and European art, furniture and silver.  A highlight was the outstanding result for the 1899 Melbourne Cup Trophy won by Merriwee.
