Strong results were achieved at Sotheby’s Australia’s October auction of Fine Asian, Australian & European Arts & Design in Melbourne.  Comprising 334 lots, the highly anticipated sale featured an impressive selection of European art, furniture, silver and bronze together with rare pieces of Asian works of art.  The auction achieved a total of $1.06 million including buyer’s premium, or 66% by volume and 101% by value.
