Online Absentee Bid Form

Absentee bid forms must be submitted before the sale begins.

Smith and Singer bears no responsibility for any errors which occur due to late instructions. Smith and Singer will endeavour to confirm bids received either by email, fax or telephone. If you have not received our confirmation within one business day, please resubmit your bid or contact Smith and Singer.

It is the bidder's responsibility to check with Smith and Singer staff whether a saleroom notice relates to any lot which they have listed. Bidders in the room will be informed of the saleroom notices by the auctioneer at the commencement of the auction.

New bidders must also provide proof of identity when submitting bids. Failure to do this may result in your bids not being processed.

Bids will rounded down to the nearest increment.

I authorise Smith and Singer to register bids on a per lot basis up to the maximum price I have indicated for each lot. I will not hold Smith and Singer responsible for any errors that occur. I have noted the 'Conditions of Sale' as printed in the auction catalogue and as available online and agree to be bound by them.

I understand that if my bid is successful, a buyer's premium of 25% inclusive of GST will be added to the hammer price and will be payable by me as part of the total purchase price. I acknowledge that items marked with † will also incur GST on the hammer price and will be payable by me as part of the total purchase price.

Smith and Singer will try to purchase these lots for the lowest possible price, taking into account the reserve and other bids.

If identical absentee bids are received, Smith and Singer will give precedence to the bid received first.
